L.R. Costanzo Co., Inc. Completes New Quick Turn-Around Rent-A-Car Facility at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport
L.R. Costanzo Co. Inc. (Costanzo), in conjunction with Conrac Solutions, placed the finishing touches on its latest project at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport…The Quick Turn-Around Rent-A-Car Facility. This state-of-the-art complex not only houses multiple rent-a-car companies under one roof, but also allows them to stage, fuel, clean and prepare cars in record speed. The 2.68-acre site includes a 10,500 square foot building accommodating two automated car washes with an additional outdoor bay with pressure washers for heavily soiled and taller vehicles, offices and break room, six fueling stations, one above-ground fuel tank and staging for more than 300 vehicles. In addition, the team installed a covered walkway alongside the vehicle Ready Return area to improve the passenger experience by providing protection from weather elements.
Costanzo is no stranger to airport projects. The firm was responsible for coordinating and installing the runway 4/22 Engineered Materials Arresting System (EMAS).
