Geisinger Medical Office Building

The team from L.R. Costanzo Co., Inc. (LRC) performed the general trades during the construction of Geisinger Wyoming Valley’s Medical Office Building. Located adjacent to Geisinger’s Henry Cancer Center (another project that LRC worked on), this impressive, 4-story building houses Neurosurgery, Vascular, Pulmonary, Neurophysiology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Pediatric Neuro and Transplant departments.

• Managing the delayed delivery of the doors and creating a plan to address those that were damaged and unfinished
• Dealing with daily challenges in coordinating with vendors and subcontractors
• Installing repetitive door hardware that could have compromised ergonomic proficiency

• Managed the work schedule to accommodate intermittent door delivery
• Created good work plans, often pivoting to maintain efficient work flow, and consistently communicated with the vendors and subcontractors
• Created work stations using work tables and rolling seats to keep work at a comfortable level making it easy to apply hardware effectively
