PROJECT
When Synthes Spine Company needed their new Pennsylvania Regional Tissue Bank operational in six months, they turned to L.R. Costanzo. The project consisted of clean rooms, executive offices and warehousing. As Construction Manager, L.R. Costanzo completed the project within budget and time constraints.
CHALLENGES
- Installation of a mechanical space in a mezzanine
- Close quarters to install the large amount of mechanical equipment
- Safety during the complex coordination of mechanical equipment in restricted space

- Extensive coordination between vendors, professionals and managers was required
- Installation was performed in stages in order to manage the space more efficiently
